Paying attention is the key element when you’re trying to avoid conflicting situation where stakes are high. The bigger the stakes the higher the risk. Complacency is another thing, underestimating things we are not familiar with is a recipe for failure and being cautious all the time will limit the loss or lessen the factual damage ahead.
