Cheap-Prized Moves

Packing up your team with a load of stars is an act of fear in disguise of rebuilding. The trend in sports have become a culture of will to win the championship at the expense of bringing together superstars and wreck havoc to those whose values are still patterned for ages. To receive a salary way too low the market value is tantamount to acknowledging the mission not to compete fair and square but with overload of power and deceit.

But who’s to blame? The team owner or the players? They’re claiming to they wanted to be the marquee player, the floor director, the leader of the band or the alpha of the team but they chose to go with teams who’ve gone through the playoffs instead of signing with those bottom finishers.

Gone are the character of a total warrior, competitor or up to the challenge players who’ll stick it through pain and pride all year long. The game has become a circus instead of a competition. An event instead of a ball game.

It’s the same old story, beaten by a team assembled through faithful drafts and resorted to labeling it as a super team in order not to lose the “best team tag” from the other division. What else shall we hear next time?

Paquito Answer for the Day 38

This one’s hot, after months of speculation and drama … the New York Knicks have agreed to trade NBA All Star and Olympian Basketball star Carmelo Anthony to the Western Conference Division title contender and home to Mr. Triple-Double and reigning league MVP Russel Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunders in exchange for several key players led by center Enes Kanter and Victor Oladipo. Shall we consider them with their own Big 3? Paul George was on board and NBA fans are too excited to see how this three will fare which was somehow came as an unexpected move given the many hindrances in landing Melo to a team like the Thunder.

Will they live up to the expectations ? Does it pose any threat to the title holder the Golden State Warriors ? That needs to be seen come opening of the NBA Games a month from now. Your thoughts please…

Paquito Quote for the Day 41

You can never change people’s thought in anyway you wanted and what they believe in when it comes to your own predicament. An analyst branded Kevin Durant as the P.O.A.T, or what he said was the Pettiest Of All Time, though another analyst or pod-caster defended the acts and the reason behind those petty things at least for the critique as to many why’s that KD had resorted to such Twitter blast directed toward the former organization where he grew up and molded to what he is right now.

Can anybody blame him for what he’d done? I myself can’t but to learn from those actions committed by one of the best player to come to the NBA.

Look, listen and learn … that’s the best part of it when a star is glowing beyond capacity. – Paquito

iPhone X , To buy or not to buy?

Now it can be told and that surprise or suspense feeling have gone faster than the wind when everybody heard and get a glimpsed of that the newest iPhone series which comes with a hefty price to the almost 70% of its patrons. Some called it iPhone X-pensive, others branded it very fragile while to some… they see it as the most appropriate investment they could have given the payment schemes offered by telcos in any part of the world.

While most of the tech-adept age band belongs to the millennials who are all gaga over with the in and outs of their generation especially when it comes to gadgets. That status symbol they’re trying to project and the pressure to stay updated in any course of their lives through crisp and easily edited photos they’ve chosen to post in any of their social media outlet has become the new norm of the photographic-communication or expressionism of the 21st century.

What makes them do those things is nothing different to the social norms of the previous and antiquated generations as it was the eloquent minds of these creative people that drives them to desire and pursue the talk of the town tag, the newsmaker, center of attraction and the social status it could impact for the whole being of the person. Does this means that as long as the evolution of great invention and creation continues so does the intuitive minds of the coming generation to experience the joy and completeness of their existence.

Going back to the question, will you buy one or will not.. remains a word if not an act that needs to be redefine before a decision is made. As simple as this, of you’re projection to be more powerfully productive and creative in your everyday life then you need one after a deep thought of its pros and cons.

To buy or not to buy is as simple as to be or not to be. – Paquito

Game of Life We Play

Hello my dear readers and fellow bloggers, been a bit busy and have to attend to other matters, anyway… let me share my thoughts on whats happening in our surroundings. Your thoughts are of the same importance and I wanna hear yours by using the Leave a Reply portion and feel free to share if you find this helpful for you and your circle of friends. Thank you and enjoy reading!

Never ending political upheavals and mudslinging. Extreme weather conditions, never before experienced flooding, irreversible loss of lives and cultural divide are among the few that constantly headlines our broadsheet, glossy thin magazines and the social media. People are learning to accept reality by picking up lives where they stumble upon. Elected officials were all pre-occupied of their own beliefs, capacity to think and personal agenda while the nature and man made destruction’s are continuously done in broad daylight. Is this the life we seem to know? or is this the game our lives must live by for us to survive?

Today’s generation seemed to be blinded by the fast pace rituals of social media, the new iPhone was introduced into the market where the so called added features made it more superior with its competitor and even to its own previous versions. C’est la vie some people will say. And who cares the other side of the world will say, once asked what can he do to make the world a better place to live despite the alarming threat of nuclear attack from the  isolated North Korea.

We cannot ask people to do things we wanna do, there is no the same priority of importance any two person has in this world. For life is a game we usually play always to our advantage.

Paquito Answer for the Day 37

From a regional menace to a global “threat”… this was how the current North Korea’s series of ICBM test or inter-continental ballistic test were being described by some observers from the around the globe. How are the world leaders are responding as compared before is an issue we should be well aware of., as the North Korea’s so called experts claimed that they’ve “successfully tested a Hydrogen Bomb” which was ten fold stronger than the Atomic bomb dropped by the US during WWII that wiped out more than 200,000 peoples lives in an instant.

Will the world superpowers allows this to happen? or Will they turn their aim to the North Korean peninsula to put plug to fast growing menace or a more diplomatic approach be extended with utmost patience for the sake of peace and humanity.
