Why We Love Buzzer Beaters

As of this writing, the Cleveland Cavaliers have forced a winner take all game to be held in the Celtics home court at the Boston Garden after LeBron James epic 46 points performance witnessed by billions of NBA Basketball fans around the world.

Going back to the topic ….  LeBron James did it again! With 8 seconds in the regulation and the score tied at 103 – 103 he calmly sank what as basketball fans says is a Banco De Mayo… crossing the half court and right in front of the opponents bench who are all looking forward to another 5 minutes extra time to at least steal a game at the Quicken Loans Arena the Cavaliers Home court. So why we love to see buzzer beaters? Be it live or in the TV screens. And there’s another thing about buzzer beater, we love to watch it repeatedly! And the big question still lingers …. why?

Research says that it’s in everybody’s DNA.! The crave to witness electrifying performances and to perform it in front of millions of spectators is entirely the same when it comes to drive and enthusiasm to be in those situation.

To see it and to do it is entirely the same whoever you are! – Paquito
