Common and executable ways to avert the menace of Kidney Disease

  • Stop the delayed action going to a toilet. Keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine re-flux is back to the ureter and kidneys, toxic substances can result in kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and nephritis, plus uremia. When nature calls…,  do it as soon as possible.
  • Consuming too much salt is a big NO. , 5.8 grams of salt daily -recommended by health experts.
  • Eating too much meat, especially red ones. Too much protein in your diet is harmful for your kidneys. Protein digestion produces ammonia – a toxin that is very destructive to your kidneys. More meat equals more kidney damage., but if you’re on a muscle building program just make sure you do your training.
  • Drinking too much caffeine. Caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drinks. It raises your blood pressure and your kidneys start suffering. You should cut down the amount of sodas, energy drinks, performance enhancing drink on a daily basis.
  • Not or unable to drink that precious water. Our kidneys should be hydrated properly to perform their functions well. If we don’t drink enough, the toxins can start accumulating in the blood, as there isn’t enough fluid to drain them through kidneys. It is highly recommended to drink more than 10 glasses of water daily. There is an easy way to check if you are drinking enough water: Look at the color of your urine; the lighter the color, the better.
  • Late treatment. Treat all your health problems properly and have your health checked regularly. Beloved and my dear, let’s help ourselves… We all do have the tendencies to seek clinical help once it turn into an enduring pain, dont delay the trip to those health facilities… the longer you delays it, the higher the accumulations of bad bacteria to your system becomes. and with this medicines try to ask your doctor as according to many  they are very dangerous: D-Cold; Vicks Action-500; Actified; Coldarin; Cosome; Nice;  Nimulid; Cetrizet-D as these contain Phenyl Propanol-Amide PPA which causes Strokes and are banned.

Adding these Important Health Tips:

  1.  Answer phone calls with the left ear.
  2.  Don’t take your medicine with cold water….
  3.  Don’t eat heavy meals after 5pm.
  4.  Drink more water in the morning, less at night.
  5.  Best sleeping time is from 10pm to 4 am.
  6.  Don’t lie down immediately after taking medicine or after meals.
  7.  When phone’s battery is low to last bar, don’t answer the phone; the radiation is 1000 times higher than the required limit.

It’s never too late to care for your health for you are unaware where it’ll end. – Paquito

Nursing Care from the Heart of the Champ Final Series

We just read the two parts of the three series shared article from one of our avid reader who’s currently based in the middle east and living the dream he once said as an inspiration that now turned into a reality. Away from the tempting world but within the arms of his loved ones. He comes from a clan of medical professionals who, like him have had memorable stay in other parts of the world. Our contributing writer is also a sports buff specializing in basketball… He plays solid defense at 1 or 2 position and skilfully attack the basket at 1 or 2 also, happily married and looking forward to put up a small clinical laboratory in his native country one day.

Third part of the three series, final

It was, Mid day, our head nurse took time to sit with us and discussed or rather counsel us with what has just transpired, we shared one by one our thoughts, emotions and we listened to what each one of us had to say. We were remarkably attached to the patient in different ways, there was good rapport built with the family, and for us nurses it’s likely to witness such an event  of losing a loved one , but this one…. was very special, I saw our unit moved and performed as one, helping each other, even with the minuet details as to the whole workload schedules that gone throughout the duration that saw some gone covering for the rest of the unit while the others were busy with the child, some ran around to get things like a simple stretcher for transport, everyone has had a fair share of contribution. We had all the same question in mind during and after the incident, is there something I could’ve done better for him at that certain moment, yes! there is and I saw that within my  pair eyes, TOTAL and UNWAVERING SUPPORT! as we were all physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially supportive to the patient and the family all throughout the process, from the time the patient was diagnosed, to carrying out the proper treatment regimen for the child, from admission till palliative care, We provided not just total patient care but genuine care, we gave not just medications but compassion, comfort, empathy and love …. these all are just some few humble traits that nurses gave without avarice, that it instill great pride and honor as we are all aware of the limitations our formal educations provided to us.  We have grown the mutual respect that seemed hard to achieve at first glance in culture rich environment. It was indeed the universal language of love and dedication as a nurse that caught all of us during the eleventh hour and no other words could describe my feelings after this experience but simply say….. ….. I am proud to say that I am a part of that unit.  Quinro “Pampi” V. Sioson, RN

Paquito Quote for the Day 35

Don’t let yourself in a situation where you got to buy air in the future. It was a crystal clear message that is still vivid in our mind. Dirty smog are a common sight nowadays in some parts of China. Blame it on the factory revolution of almost all things you can think of as they’re the biggest mass producers of anything your hands might be holding.

Work pressures introduced many local to smoking tobacco giving them smog inside and outside of their bodies. Have you ever wonder why people punished themselves unconsciously through smoking. Health insurance claims have double according to medical records in a ten year span. Bronchial disease have rises up and this include those who don’t smoke as they’re inhaling the more deadly second hand smoke and smog. Air is a natural resources that’s been given to everyone for free and it is very much available wherever you decided to stay. Treating yourself to a better way in dealing with air pollution is tantamount to getting air for free and don’t let yourself buy it by indulging yourself to smoking.

When there is a smoke, there’ll be a problem in the end. – Paquito
