Rebuilding means Strengthening , What You can learn from the CP3 Trade and Its Corporate Significance

Hello to all, fellow bloggers who never ceases to inspire our dear readers who we all valued and love for taking time to read our articles anytime of the day and what is more rewarding was they all come from all corners of the world, from Israel to China and South Africa. Thank you and May the Es-pirit de Corps always emerge and respected.

I’ve just hit the gym and when I went out CP3 is now a Rockets!.. this was one of the million of reactions from an avid fan of the league. From his own point of view, he was caught by surprised but not with the people and team owners and executives involved with the huge change as they’ve been aiming to aggressively rebuild their core team and they want it fast… thus acquisition of CP3 for the Houston Rockets with a lot of players getting the boot to make a wider space for their prize find from the trade market … making them , hmmm according to some league expert as the third best team in the NBA.

We’ve seen this happening many times, players taking their guns through social media and other memes way of letting their opinion be heard and it was clearly logical for the team executives to exercise the legal way of doing the re-alignment process of their turf favorably conducive for their commercial and league athleticism  standards. Corporate worlds has the same scenarios, middle level manager up to the high level management positions are clouted with consistent movement both initiated by the company and it employees by severing ties and bringing their talent to a place or organization they hope will give them the best of both worlds every heart desires.

Company owners have their own fears covering the whole belt of the organization they’ve had put up with their bare hands and dreams…  that employees are the most important resources they have and always assure to it the everybody gets the fair share and no one be left out once a performance bonus are handed out. Lest we must not forget that change is the only permanent thing in this world. Personal rebuilding is therefore a must if we wanted to stay in the league of our own where politics, competition and growth are all but realistic tangibles we need to surpass in order to be marketable as everybody wanted to call it.

You must knew your strengths and where to put or bring it for you to become an extra ordinary effective employee without exception to the rule. Today you might be very effective to the procedural matters of your organization but sooner or later with the never ending robotics and scientific approaches, these becomes immaterial that we found ourselves on the obsolete end of the process making the presence inappropriate.

While the acquisition of new talent versus the seasoned ones are the most common comparison and hard to swallow reality for both fences involve , a close weigh in analysis plays vital when it come to the long term direction of any organizations have in the future. This means that whenever your talent is turned down or not given any consideration it doesn’t mean that you’re not qualified but its just that your talent might be over-valued or undervalue for their needs given their long term plans.

As most of the veteran singers or performers always say, You’re only as good as your last song or performance . Never Stop Rebuilding and Continue Strengthening Yourself – Paquito

You Gotta Have That KD and LeBron DNA to be a Winner in Your Own Chosen World.

We tend to find ourselves contemplating on what really completes us, from work, health, hobbies and even gadgets. There seems to be hard time for us to reach the bottom of satisfaction. Though this is a good sign of yearning for more, looking for more and going after those challenges we knew right from the start or recently notice that we can do better or we got to reach for more, the peak and see for ourselves how sweet or sour it is at the top.

So you’re thinking of quitting your current job that pays more than you’ve expected. The job that gave you a five years and ten year loyalty awards where you’ve learned the strokes of the corporate world, the highs and lows of the work environment. You’ve established great co-worker/employee relations and you are acclimatized with the routine. In short you were bound to another 5 or 10 more years and seeing yourself retire with those bunch of whom you considered as your influence’s and motivational professionals, coach or amigo’s who’ve help you out carve a career that is not easy.

Plan not to fail or you’ll fail along the way for not planning . And most the human resource analyst are doing clash of clans in reference to how they can make a great employee to stay even with the lot of bait outside. Switching jobs or career is not really bad at all. Why ?  Here is a great example.

When the Akron Ohio native jumped fence to the Miami Heat, LeBron James arguably the best ever to play the game have received a lot of curses. The fans gone mad with his decision pointing out the “loyalty issue” that has been the norm prior to his arrival in the league where marquee players retires with the same team it first took them. And for him it is his desire to win championship that will cement his stature in the league. The books shows that he did not only twice but thrice in two difference team organization, the Miami as back-to-back champion and with the Cavaliers last year.

In the recently concluded NBA Finals, the series Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant were once in your the same plight. And it took him ten solid years to make a decision that forever change his life, career and opportunities to the sports he is considered as one of the best. That little courage to follow what your heart desires will always have two sides along the way. First, the ghost of the past will haunt you and keeps you distracted with a lot of if’s and but’s. And there’s only one way or thing to let it stop to haunt and that is to reach the known success by doing the hard work, harder than your previous ones.

Imitating their decisions after a thorough thinking of what it’ll bring on the table are highly regarded as the second reason behind why do people change work and careers and that self redemption through humility is the most notable answers by those who’ve moved their talent elsewhere after a long stay. Pick up your things and follow that big decision you have at the back of your mind and do a Kevin Durant and LeBron James style of decision making and see your crowning glory unfold.

Greatness is not about loyalty, its about finding your place to give your best. – Paquito

The Ten Best Reasons to Date an Architect

A lot of Juliet’s are always on the lookout for their Romeo’s and romantic acquaintances in work places, pubs and restaurant’s or in any part of the world. Varied qualifications and excitement are in the offing once a date is set either through blind date or pre-arrange meetups or just the so called casual ones. Have you ever asked those women what basic qualification they’re looking at,… for a guy or gentlemen aside from being good looking or  with a whopping sex appeal who has the v-shape torso even in plain shirt. But those are just minor details if the woman is to be ask. I don’t like to sound biased but let me give these girls the best benefits and advantages on why they should choose to try to date an Architect . Any suggestions girls?

  1. Architects are artistically romantic in a sense that they put in extra effort to any simple gift they gave out. From colors to sizes and the practical essence that it’ll be useful for your daily routine and it comes with a personalized caricature of you.
  2. They’re trained to stay late at night and even spend sleepless nights during their college years, so if you’re on a GY shift type of work… nothing to worry when it comes to bringing you to your workplace needs him to be awake at past the wee hour of twelve and he’s still smelling like a baby.
  3. You’re searching for a sensible discussion and matured topics? Look away no more as Architects are all genuinely bright and easily converse in any topic a woman wants.. be it politics, current events and even the most trending fashion as they’re always dress not only to impress but also to express professionally romantic.
  4. Architects will never ever let you foot or share the bill once the date is done.. Not only that they’ll never bring you to any so so restaurant but they’ll see to it that you have the best moment with him while listening to soothing musical enthralls of a seasoned pianist of the hotel plush lobby’s.
  5. If you love going places and got a lot in your bucket list, try to give him a chance let him lead you the expedition of places you never been to and of course riding his two-door weekend car… top down.
  6. Do you love going to the exhibits, expositions, furniture launch or collecting interior design mementos? Architects monthly schedule always booked for any of these as they don’t wanna be left behind in terms of ins and outs of products and high end house furnishings, with a glass of wine and cocktails.
  7. Every time you read the Sunday broadsheet it comes along with a glossy special real estate living magazine issues and you can’t help but salivate and dream of seeing these pre-selling, project launching and posh subdivision enclave tripping, you’ll be lucky if the Architect wooing you is involved in any of these as it’ll be a breeze for you to see things… perfectly natural after a warm welcome cold drinks.
  8. Architects love nature and they always make time to have an outdoor activities. At least woman will have time to wear comfy jeans and shirt and forget for a while those women’s dresses and stilettos.
  9. Expect a date to sports event, ball games both indoor and outdoor. A time with your Architect date to be in a casual-sport get-up. They love to jog, go to the gym for workouts and play with you some badminton games and a lot more. Golf is where they’re also good at… so hit the greens and support his championship game.
  10. Before we forget the most romantic part of your date, movies …. yeah women love to see any movie they don’t really want and it’s just that they’re testing the character of any guy they went out in a cold dark places. But with the Architect, it’s far very different. They always read movie reviews before indulging to it and that’s a big difference than having a guy who did seem don’t know which of the blockbuster to watch for as they’re really not that interested of any movie reviews at all… in addition to that, Architect’s know how to secure seats and that is after using their tech prowess.

This is an insight taken from several men from the profession who are already taken by those woman who were able to understand and discover the valuable and humble traits possess by an Architect. Yes, they always argue but it is by far which is which or where is better thing to go after at and not the argument you have in mind., besides… Architect’s always build great relationship within the foundation of trust, love and understanding. Can’t find an Architect date, why not find a friend first and see it for the rest while hoping for the best.

Relationship is not by profession but by the person. – Paquito

Nursing Care from the Heart of the Champ Final Series

We just read the two parts of the three series shared article from one of our avid reader who’s currently based in the middle east and living the dream he once said as an inspiration that now turned into a reality. Away from the tempting world but within the arms of his loved ones. He comes from a clan of medical professionals who, like him have had memorable stay in other parts of the world. Our contributing writer is also a sports buff specializing in basketball… He plays solid defense at 1 or 2 position and skilfully attack the basket at 1 or 2 also, happily married and looking forward to put up a small clinical laboratory in his native country one day.

Third part of the three series, final

It was, Mid day, our head nurse took time to sit with us and discussed or rather counsel us with what has just transpired, we shared one by one our thoughts, emotions and we listened to what each one of us had to say. We were remarkably attached to the patient in different ways, there was good rapport built with the family, and for us nurses it’s likely to witness such an event  of losing a loved one , but this one…. was very special, I saw our unit moved and performed as one, helping each other, even with the minuet details as to the whole workload schedules that gone throughout the duration that saw some gone covering for the rest of the unit while the others were busy with the child, some ran around to get things like a simple stretcher for transport, everyone has had a fair share of contribution. We had all the same question in mind during and after the incident, is there something I could’ve done better for him at that certain moment, yes! there is and I saw that within my  pair eyes, TOTAL and UNWAVERING SUPPORT! as we were all physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially supportive to the patient and the family all throughout the process, from the time the patient was diagnosed, to carrying out the proper treatment regimen for the child, from admission till palliative care, We provided not just total patient care but genuine care, we gave not just medications but compassion, comfort, empathy and love …. these all are just some few humble traits that nurses gave without avarice, that it instill great pride and honor as we are all aware of the limitations our formal educations provided to us.  We have grown the mutual respect that seemed hard to achieve at first glance in culture rich environment. It was indeed the universal language of love and dedication as a nurse that caught all of us during the eleventh hour and no other words could describe my feelings after this experience but simply say….. ….. I am proud to say that I am a part of that unit.  Quinro “Pampi” V. Sioson, RN

Nursing Care from the Heart of a Champ Second of a 3 Part Series

We break through how special a dedicated nursing professional have their days and night inside the medical facilities and their inner minds.. What could’ve been a simple routine could turn everything into  something more serious that demands more of their efforts and expertise as their main goal from their job is to ensure that patients will have the most convenient care any nurse could provide during those excruciating pain of their life…. read on..,,

Second part of three series

For weeks, we noticed something different with the patient, behavioral changes, from a noisy yet snobbish little child he became an introvert, no more interactions, he chose to be silent most of the time, agitated, irritated, also…  chemically speaking, the patient’s counts were dropping and was on a down-slide, tachycardic, vitals were unstable sometimes on the highside sometimes on the low, and we, as  nurses have this gut feeling about things, we can somehow perceive what’s gonna happen next, and this is it, he’s walking down this path and it went on for weeks. We felt that the mother was preparing herself onto this, she asked to have a room with a bed just to be beside with her child most of the time, including a crib where she can put the baby aside when she’s away or doing something, she thought of that by herself, and as caregivers, one of the nurses took this concern with the head-nurse and appealed the mother’s request, and was granted,

One morning, we were having our regular endorsement, routine rounds for vitals and assessment, we were not expecting what was about to happen, it was around 10 o’clock, the primary nurse went inside the patient’s room to check the pump because it was beeping, a sign that the antibiotics were done infusing, and to start another medication as scheduled and needed for the patient. The patient was noisy, we can hear it from the hall, it’s like he’s back to his usual self, then the mom suddenly woke up and ask the nurse to check the oxygen level, the oxygen saturation of the patient, the primary nurse silently rushed to me, she said ” It’s his time, the child”, I was in shock, frozen on my seat for the longest time I’ve ever had in my life , we told the physician, and we decided to go inside the room and have a look, there he was, laying on his side, gasping for air with his nasal canula on, looking straight at you with his eyes, struggling, although silent and calm as if he is saving his energy to fight!

I kept asking myself what can I do, no code patient, then it happened, no more physical movement, then we took the ECG machine to confirm, as we were putting the electrodes the mother kept saying, “kalas”, “mut”, it’s already done, he’s already dead… teary eyed, weary, and you can see the agony on her eyes. But the mom was a fighter, the mom is really a strong person, no bursting out of emotions, as she closed her son’s eyes, as she fixed her son’s lying position, and we told her “keep talking, he can still hear you”, then she broke out in tears as she whisper to the child’s ear, saying I-love-you and everything. Then the mom prepared to have his angel cleaned, they gave a bath, and did postmortem care and prepared for transport to the main hospital’s morgue, As they were passing through the halls of the hospital, the twin sister is in sight inside a trolley, she had a look on her brother, wrapped with white cloth, she gasp for air, trying to reach out then broke out in tears, we can feel the connection between the two and it was really a heartbreaking moment.

Nursing Care from the Heart of a Champ

It’s Labor Day and as  some major roads are turned into an impromptu stage for strikes and massive congregation of union leaders and supporters who’ve always seeking fair treatment and wage increase relative to rising cost of daily living both in urban and rural areas of the country….  on the contrary, this is the day where employees, workers and those involved in any other type of work lay down their tools, data sheets, halt to conduct meetings to simultaneously observe the official holiday. Like any other normal profession that we normally dealt with, we just took notice of them whenever we visit a medical facility for a check up, laboratory and confinement including visits to our dear brothers and sisters who are in need of medical, natal, critical and ancillary care no other professionals could best provide but Nurses. A young man from the Southeast Asia went to the Middle East to practice the profession amid the threat, language barrier and cultural difference that initially posed hindrance to perfectly perform the duties tied to the contract… just for only a little while, as we enjoy every passing day of our stay. We’ve learn to embrace these same hindrances with one solid reason in mind which is, to care with passion and love.

First part of  the three series

I stand before you as a professional who represents my unit, my hospital in the Middle East, and most importantly the nurse’s community, I’m here to take you on a journey in the footsteps of every nurses, in dealing with patients in pediatric oncology and BMT sections every seconds, minute and hours of each passing day.
Currently in our care is a child, of 3 years of age diagnosed with HLH including his twin sister….  Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, a hematologic disease, characterized with pancytopenia, hepatospleenomegaly, fever and jaundice. CBT (cord blood transplant) was done for the patients, it was successful for his the twin sister but unfortunately twice failed for the little patient, carefully thought of and decided to be a no code patient. But the medical team didn’t stop there,  the lead medical team search and proceeded for a better plan, and for the third time to have another transplant, waiting for the patient’s count to be up and reeling towards the patients fitting compliance for the needed procedure, as it will be an excruciating time for the patient and his family.
I’ve known the patient since I was working in the Out Patient Department, an almost fixed patron of the blood bank, whenever he’s visiting, there’s opt to be a transfusion whether it’s platelets, packed RBC or even both. the disease progresses as time passed, until admitted.

Few months back I was transferred to the inpatient duties  and as far as i can remember there … they were, in one of the rooms. Physical manifestation of slow deterioration can be seen, sudden bleeding, jaundice, abdominal enlargement. Months passed, same routine everyday, patient spiking fever, boluses ordered, transfusions every now and then, antibiotics lined up like a pile of people waiting for a blockbuster movie, honestly, I this has been one of the most difficult and to our colleagues term, the most toxic we ever handle for a child patient , with multiple tasks to be carried out within the day, his mother is nagging about things, about medications, even the tiniest or minute detailed little thing in relation to her child, that gotten the most out of us for that day. Like a tired juggler we all finally felt the pressure from the highest expectations any other mother’s patient have had and to hear her say the sincerest thank you somehow put out all our hardship and pain that took toll on us for the day… it made us stronger and inspired for the gratitude expressed. Pride and enthusiasm lit fire in my heart as we continue to provide the utmost care for this child. …

—– expect the second part of the three series after 24-48 hours period.
